All About Franchising is a business located in Coffs Harbour on the mid-north coast of NSW. The business is owned by Suzanne & Wilson McOrist. What is unique about the McOrists is that they have created and developed successful franchise networks. As franchisors they have the practical knowledge gained through their hands-on experience - knowledge that other franchise advisors do not have.

1997 – 2008: Computer Troubleshooters.

In 1997 they formulated the business concept of a chain a computer sales & service centres starting with one outlet in Coffs Harbour. By 2008 Computer Troubleshooters had grown to be the world’s largest computer service franchise, with over 500 outlets in 24 countries. See www.comptroub.com.

They developed the Australian Franchise Agreement, Disclosure documentation, marketing material and recruitment and training processes.  They expanded the business into the USA, the UK, New Zealand, South Africa, Asia and Europe - a Master Franchise was located for each country. Wilson was directly involved in the training, support and management of that entity.

In 1989 the McOrists’s started a franchise network of computerised bookkeeping centres. The first franchise outlet was opened in Coffs Harbour and grew to a team of over 200 franchises across Australia and New Zealand. The business was sold in 1996. See www.expressbookkeeping.com.au

Franchise Mediation:

Wilson McOrist has extensive experience with Mediation, both as a franchise consultant and as a franchise owner. He has mediated on issues such as claims of non-performance against Master Franchises, conflicts with territories with franchisees, claims of improper use of advertising funds and a range of claims of breaches of franchise agreements.

Their franchise Computer Troubleshooters was selected by Gulf Franchising as one of just five International Franchises to be established in the Gulf region.
